Knowledge Bridge
Knowledge Bridge is a visual configuration environment used by companies and individuals that design, make or deliver complex, configurable products. Knowledge Bridge goes beyond traditional CPQ with EPQ (Engineer/Price/Quote) functionality – essentially integrating a powerful, web-based ETO (engineer to order) rules engine with a flexible, customizable visual configuration user experience.
Engineers and other subject-matter experts can capture their knowledge using kBridge’s easy-to-use authoring environment. As a native cloud application, geographically disparate teams can work together to create and test Apps that are specifically built to drive highly interactive product configuration capabilities to sales teams, customers, value-chain partners and more.
As Excel is to spreadsheets, Knowledge Bridge is to 3D models and complex products. And, in fact, Knowledge Bridge has out-of-the-box integration with Excel to support legacy “configuration calculators” as well as to generate BOMS, pricing worksheets, and other outputs. Other integrations include Word (for quote documents, installation instructions, etc.), Inventor (for detailed 3D models and drawings), Revit (for architectural and BIM models, both in and out), and AutoCAD (as a multi-purpose drawing generation system).
